Such is the popularity of this annual festivity that Chinese customs and traditions are followed by almost everyone; no matter what heritage they have.

But did you know that there is more to this celebration than just wishing for peace and prosperity for the new lunar year? In China, the changing of the year is actually considered as a festival for the family!
This 2016, say goodbye to the Wood Sheep and welcome the rule of the Fire Monkey with your family at SkyRanch Tagaytay. The much-loved travel destination will hold a series of activities to commemorate the festivity with a bang.

Will a Chinese celebration be complete without fireworks? Make sure you scare all the bad luck away by watching Fire in the Sky, a spectacular fireworks display which will be held on February 6 and 7 at7pm. Feast your eyes at the wonderful lights display with your loved ones and experience SkyRanch’s rides afterwards.
SkyRanch Tagaytay is a 5.5-hectare development by SM Prime under Commercial Properties Group (CPG), the property holding firm of the SM Group of Companies. Apart from the property segment, the latter has also has major business interests in banking and retail sectors.
The park opens daily from 10 AM to 10 PM during weekdays and 8 AM to 10 PM during weekends. From Manila, it is accessible through the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) exit to Santa Rosa, Laguna. From there, coast along the Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Rd. up to Tagaytay’s famous hills and landscapes.
SkyRanch is the only amusement park in Tagaytay City. Since it opened in 2013, it has been attracting crowds from Metro Manila and nearby provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas and Quezon. It has a number of rides that children and adults alike will enjoy.
