It’s More Fun in the Philippines. This is the new DoT online campaign that is really getting all social networking peeps involved. Following the sample from DoT-inspired images, a lot of netizens across the archipelago are now sharing their creative images and tagging it #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines.
Now its time to create one for yourself and share it to the web world.
Step 1: Download the Font Harabara Font and install it by clicking the font and click install
Step 2: Choose an image that you capture anywhere in the Philippines and open it with paint if you are using Windows 7 or any other photo editing software.
Step 3: I’m going to use Paint because it comes with Windows 7. Now resize the view of your image to fit the screen, you can do this by going to the View Tab and clicking the Zoom Out button.
Step 4: Now head back to Home tab and click the text button to insert a text inside your image, now you can work your magic and imagination on what caption you want on your image. Use the font size to manipulate the text and change the color of the font to white.
Step 4: Great now that you have created your own masterpiece. It’s time to save it as a JPEG Image and you are ready to share it. One more minor thing, For purposes of search in Google Images, you may want to rename your file with the location where the image was shot and include “more fun in the Philippines” so for instance this photo on John is renamed as “beaches more fun in the Philippines.jpg”
